Vegetation survey data collected in the summers of 2012 and 2014 by Itiya Aneece at the Blandy Experimental Farm (BEF) in north-central Virginia as part of her PhD dissertation. Vegetation was surveyed in four main study areas at BEF: northeast (NE) and southwest (SW) successional fields, Lake Arnold (LA), and a strip of land near the northeast successional field (NEB). The NE and SW successional fields were in various stages of succession: early (E), mid (M), and late (L), which follow NE and SW in the Plot code. The Bureau of Land Management's National Invasive Species Information Management System (NISIMS) is designed to collect field data and store it in a standard database to allow for data sharing and reporting at the local, state and national levels. This data product contains the quality-controlled, native sampling resolution data from NEON's breeding landbird sampling crosswalked to Darwin Core. Breeding landbirds are defined as “smaller birds (usually exclusive of raptors and upland game birds) not usually associated with aquatic habitats” (Ralph et al. 1993). The breeding landbird point counts product provides records of species identification of all individuals observed during the 6-minute count period, as well as metadata which can be used to model detectability, e.g., weather, distances from observers to birds, and detection methods. A study commissioned by the Utah Division of Water Quality and the Colorado Water Quality Control Division. Study was carried out by Utah State University. The overarching goal of the study was to conduct a comprehensive search and synthesis of existing records on the historical and current presence of ammonia-sensitive freshwater mussels (Superfamily Unionoidea) and non-pulmonate snails (Valvatidae, Hydrobiidae) in Utah and Colorado.
