Confluence Retirement

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is scheduled for retirement on January 27th, 2023. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience.     Roland, I found out there was a typo in some of the links. The leading http doesn't show in the bottom of the page, but that's the way the stylesheet works; the links are fine. Thanks for the heads up.

    I have been using this page to post my many kb articles, many of which are directly linked from the "real" pages. An example is the anaconda guidance. It's just really handy for stuff like that where multiple authors can collaborate and keep things up to date.

    We have considered replacing our main pages with this confluence site. The main roadblock is that we have an http.conf that allows all DOI (but not the public) to see the gio/egis page and we don't know if that can be easily done here.

    1. we could ask Si Peterson and Tim Kern on that kind of low level configuration. Would you like me to initiate that?

      seems doable, based on this post that I only barely understand.

      (also, like the bold on the sidebar headings!)
