The Tracking And Integrated Logging System (TAILS) is a Web-based, activity-tracking system for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Field Offices. TAILS is designed to provide for Field Office operational needs while promoting and providing a consistent means of recording and reporting Office "Activities."

Currently TAILS allows offices to log, track, and report on Activities within three core activity modules:

  • Section 7 Consultations,
  • Conservation Planning Assistance (CPA) Activities (formerly “Federal Activities”), and
  • Environmental Contaminant (EC) Activities.

This page provides links to chapters in the updated TAILS User Guide, now available here on Confluence. It also includes instructions for the Bull Trout Effects-Take Module, linked here: Bull Trout Effects-Take: User Manual
