2018-07-19 – Announcement courtesy of Samantha Simon and Matthew Higdon:
There are two open NEPA Specialist positions at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), in Knoxville or Chattanooga (based on the preference of the selected individuals). Applications are due July 25, 2018, and are accepted through TVA’s Careers website, rather than, at the following link:

TVA is a corporate agency of the United States government and receives no taxpayer funding, deriving virtually all of its revenues from sales of electricity. TVA offers leave, retirement and health benefits like other Federal agencies. If selected for the position, individuals who are currently Federal employees may transfer to TVA and maintain their current retirement and leave benefits (if there is no break in service). Unlike other agencies, however, TVA does not use the General Schedule pay tables. TVA offers competitive salaries determined by market pricing and the qualifications of individuals.
