APHIS has prepared an environmental assessment relative to permitting the release of the insects Bikasha collaris and Gadirtha fusca for the biological control of Chinese tallow tree. See: https://beta.regulations.gov/document/APHIS-2020-0035-0001 for more details. The announcement was released on January 21st. The deadline for comments is February 22, 2021. This is an important step for a biocontrol solution against Tallow.
