Confluence Retirement

Due to the feedback from stakeholders and our commitment to not adversely impact USGS science activities that Confluence supports, we are extending the migration deadline to January 2023.

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is targeted for retirement. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. Sample type filter
  • Data can be retrieved by specific US Geological Survey (USGS), National Water Quality Assessment (NAWQA) and US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), National Rivers and Streams Assessment (NRSA) protocols.
  • NAWQA algae, invertebrate and fish samples are collected at a reach scale and specific sampling protocols can be found in a USGS Open-file report at http://pubs.usgs.gov/of/2002/ofr-02-150/.
  • NAWQA revised methods for characterizing stream habitat can be found in a USGS Water Resources Investigations Report at http://pubs.usgs.gov/wri/wri984052/.
  • EPA National Rivers and Streams Assessment (NSRA) protocols are contained in several documents that can be found at http://water.epa.gov/type/rsl/monitoring/riverssurvey/.
