All USGS employees must submit their travel vouchers within 5 days of their return from the Workshop. This is a USGS requirement and will allow the CDI Coordinators to quickly deliver the required Workshop Cost Report to the Department of the Interior. Thank you for your cooperation.

To access the Denver Federal Center, you will need a Federal identification badge or government issued identification. Non-federal participants must enter through Visitors' Gates 1, 4, or 5.
To access Building 53, National Training Center, you will need a Federal identification badge or government issued identification.
Please make sure you are wearing your Federal identification badge at all times while on the DFC.
To register for the Workshop, you must be on the 2015 CDI Workshop Approved Attendees List. If you are not on this list but would like attend, please contact cdi@usgs.gov.
To reduce workshop costs, please choose a hotel with shuttle service to/from DFC or share rental cars with others.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Community for Data Integration (CDI) represents a dynamic aggregation of multiple communities of practice, focused on the advancement of scientific data and information management and integration capabilities across the USGS and external organizations to enhance Earth science research. As a community of practice reaching across organizational structures, programs, and regions, the CDI is uniquely positioned to foster collaboration to advance data integration topics. The workshop is a crucial step in the process of focusing people, funding, and bureau-wide efforts across USGS Mission Areas and Regions on data integration tools and services, data and information management, and methods.

Training sessions will be held on Monday, May 11 at the Denver Federal Center. Topics will include: High Performance Computing, ISO 19115 Metadata Toolkit, Data Release Tools, USGS Cloud Hosting, and Geotagging Publications. Exiting the Denver Federal Center
All Gates in the Denver Federal Center except Gate 1 (Southeast corner closest to Kipling St. and Alameda Ave) will close every day at 6:00pm MT. Please be sure to make adjustments to your evening travel accordingly.
