Confluence Retirement

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, the myUSGS Confluence service is targeted for retirement on January 28, 2022. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. Welcome to the 2015 CDI Annual Workshop

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Community for Data Integration (CDI) represents a dynamic aggregation of multiple communities of practice, focused on the advancement of scientific data and information management and integration capabilities across the USGS and external organizations to enhance Earth science research. As a community of practice reaching across organizational structures, programs, and regions, the CDI is uniquely positioned to foster collaboration to advance data integration topics. The workshop is a crucial step in the process of focusing people, funding, and bureau-wide efforts across USGS Mission Areas and Regions on data integration tools and services, data and information management, and methods.

The purpose of the workshop is to:

  • Identify new, high-value opportunities for advancing data integration in the Earth sciences;
  • Share successes in data integration, applications and tools;
  • Provide training on USGS data management, high performance computing, and integration tools.

For questions, information, or help please contact cdi@usgs.gov.
