Bill Werkheiser is holding a Breakfast with Bill (informal discussion with Bill Werkheiser, Director of the USGS) with the CDI workshop on Thursday, May 18, from 7:30-8:30am, immediately before the DataBlast. The next day, Friday, he is holding another Breakfast with Bill for the Denver Metro Area.
A DataBlast is an informal poster and demo session. Its origins are from a similar "MapBlast" event at conferences. The CDI has been holding DataBlasts since its first events in 2009.
A laptop or other device. We will be using different online collaborative apps to capture notes, take polls, collect questions from the audience in the plenaries and breakouts, and push out the latest information about the workshop. To participate fully, you may want to bring your laptop, tablet, or other device.

If you have indicated your interest in attending in the USGS Conference Database, or by emailing us (for non-USGS participants), you should have received an email message from Leslie Hsu with instructions on how to complete your formal registration, and should have received an EventBrite invitation before 4/10/17.
