Confluence Retirement

Due to the feedback from stakeholders and our commitment to not adversely impact USGS science activities that Confluence supports, we are extending the migration deadline to January 2023.

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is targeted for retirement. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. I am planning an effort on my district of the Tongass National Forest to dovetail into an amphibian monitoring program that has begun to use eDNA to detect amphibian pathogens, including Bd and ranavirus. Since it's an amphibian program our focus is on prime breeding habitat, but since my interest in my new project is solely the detection of the pathogens that infect the amphibians, I wonder what protocols or best practices others in the eDNA community may have employed to most efficiently and reliably sample.
