Confluence Retirement

Due to the feedback from stakeholders and our commitment to not adversely impact USGS science activities that Confluence supports, we are extending the migration deadline to January 2023.

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is targeted for retirement. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. If you need any additional information or have any concerns about this change, please contact Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I'm interested in connecting with people who are running flume/laboratory/field experiments or measurement campaigns in sediment transport or hydraulics, especially those that collect any type of bedload transport, for a project that will make it easier to document, integrate, analyze, and reuse these data types using existing USGS tools.

For this project, I'd also be interested in connecting with anyone with lots of experience helping project-team members with Jupyter notebooks.

I am hoping to span the Water, Hazards, and CSS Mission Areas with this project.

Please contact me at if you would be interested in collaborating or know of contacts/resources. Thanks!
