Confluence Retirement

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is scheduled for retirement on January 27th, 2023. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. If you need any additional information or have any concerns about this change, please contact myusgs@usgs.gov. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

UPDATE: Anyone can join the Microsoft Team. External users, send a request to cdi@usgs.gov. Dept of Interior employees, follow the instructions below.

Join the new CDI Microsoft Team where you can ask questions, suggest connections to other Teams with relevant discussions, and view more frequent and informal announcements.

Our hope is that this platform will allow more information exchange and less email inbox anxiety.

DOI employees: Use this link to join the Team, or use the code 8xi1t12 from the "Join or Create Team" link.

If you are not a USGS employee, send a request to cdi@usgs.gov to get a join link.

If signing in for the first time, go to https://teams.microsoft.com and sign in with your full USGS email address (you may need to be on VPN).

Here's a quick start guide from Microsoft, although we may not have every feature enabled in our USGS implementation.

Questions? Feel free to comment here (if logged in) or email cdi@usgs.gov.

It's a new platform for us, so we'll be learning about MS Teams together!
