USGS CDI TSWG Meetings 1-11-2011 Meeting

  January 11, 2011, 11AM MST

Phone: (661) 673-8600,  Code: 716804#

Agenda:

  1. Update on December 14th Action Items
  2. Featured Speaker: Sally Holl will talk about (please correct me if I misstate anything, Sally!) her work to consume USGS Water webservices for use in ESRI-based end user applications. Hopefully we can discuss approaches and products of her work that others might be able to reuse, as well as provide feedback to data providers on how to make their services more readily usable to developers of end-user applications. See Sally's presentation on webex here. Get the webex player here

Ran Long, will move items below to next meeting.

  1. Plan upcoming meetings and meeting process
    1. Brainstorm featured presentations/presentors
    2. Documenting TSWG calls and post-call research
  2. Talk about participation in upcoming conferences
    1. The National Map Users Conference and USGS GIS Workshop, specifically the Data Integration Track
  3. Should we form a PDA developer subgroup (or should we join with the Field Computing Integration and Support (FCIS) folks)? Should we designate someone to talk w/FCIS?
