Confluence Retirement

Due to the feedback from stakeholders and our commitment to not adversely impact USGS science activities that Confluence supports, we are extending the migration deadline to January 2023.

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is targeted for retirement. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. If you need any additional information or have any concerns about this change, please contact myusgs@usgs.gov. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

CDI Monthly Forums (2nd Wednesdays at 11:00 am ET)

The CDI Monthly Forums bring together the community to encourage discussion through presentations from USGS programs and science centers as well as outside organizations to share application development and new technologies, discuss data initiatives, and address data and metadata management challenges.
For more information see: Workshops and Meetings

Working Groups

As part of networking and sharing knowledge and experience, the CDI has expanded its community approach through Working Groups that form around common interests, help address challenges, and identify solutions that enable data integration efforts. Working Groups have one or more leads and membership is open to all employees, other government agencies, and external organizations. Some Working Groups have also further subdivided into smaller Focus Groups that address more specific issues and report up to their respective Working Group
