Confluence Retirement

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is scheduled for retirement on January 27th, 2023. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. You can add any type of file to your project page, such as a .doc, .xls, jpeg, pdf, .shp, etc. through DEPTH. 

  • To add a non-shapefile to your project page, first click on the blue "Add File" at the top of the page on the tool bar.

To add a shapefile to a project page you must have an unzipped shapefile of your project area.

  • The files will be added to your project as shown below. 
  • There is no need to save. When you return to your project page (by clicking on the title of your project) you will see your files have been added to your project.
