Confluence Retirement

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is scheduled for retirement on January 27th, 2023. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. If you need any additional information or have any concerns about this change, please contact myusgs@usgs.gov. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

  • The required fields for a New Project are: 

    • Project Title
    • Community
    • Organization 

  • Fill in the required fields and any additional fields you would like to include for your project.

  • Note: You can always go back later to fill in any of the non-required fields.

  • An Item Parent ID number will be set for you.

  • Click on the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page and your project will be created in ScienceBase.

  • Note: You must address all invalid or missing data before you will be able to save this form.
