The Community for Data Integration (CDI) is a forum for addressing USGS data integration issues. CDI develops Bureau-level recommendations for the USGS Data Integration Strategy and its implementation , and promotes data integration across the Bureau. The The CDI Charter and a background page about About CDI are available. This is a publicly available web space managed by community members, and much of the content found throughout this site provides exposure to current thinking of the community. It is provided into the public space to encourage participation and collaboration with the many groups and individuals who are working on similar issues but does not represent official policy of the USGS or the U.S. Government in general.
We are currently working on transitioning the CDI wiki and documents from a myUSGS 3.0 space to this new myUSGS 4.0 space. That will all be completed in advance of the CDI workshop, August 17-18 in Denver. In the meantime, you might see some a few new pages show up here for ongoing work from CDI folks testing this new platform.
