Confluence Retirement

Due to the feedback from stakeholders and our commitment to not adversely impact USGS science activities that Confluence supports, we are extending the migration deadline to January 2023.

In an effort to consolidate USGS hosted Wikis, myUSGS’ Confluence service is targeted for retirement. The official USGS Wiki and collaboration space is now SharePoint. Please migrate existing spaces and content to the SharePoint platform and remove it from Confluence at your earliest convenience. Successful proposals in the past have reflected a clear contribution to the CDI's goals of building capacity, framework, and services that aid a broad cross-section of scientists and researchers in their pursuits to manage, integrate, and share data as they conduct multi-disciplinary science.

  • In FY 2010, we were able to obtain $500,000 from Bureau cost share.
  • This year (FY11), we received our cumulative request for $227,700.
  • For FY 2012, I wonder if anyone knows what's available at this early
    stage. No one really knows, could be as much as much as $500,000 but there is no set amount known.
  • Past proposals included substantial in-kind resources and used the Bureau cost share funding as an augmentation to extend the scope of a given project.
