Adaptation, adaptive capacity and vulnerability

Short Description

In the context of adaptive capacity and vulnerability, this paper explores human community change to global changes especially in climate change. Adaptations are responses to environmental hazards and human vulnerability to those risks. Evaluation of adaptation options to identify prefered measures, and vulnerability indices provide vulnerability scores for all scales of regions. Many of the adaptation initiatives resulting from social science are integrated and mainstreamed into other resource management development and programs.
