A Methodological Evaluation of an Environmental Education Survey: Is There a Technical Advantage
Many youth lack exposure to nature, and environmental education is a way to counter the effects of this lack of exposure. Environmental eduation programs face challenges in determining effectiveness: the methods lack consistency and sometimes programs are not evaluated, which can lead to false claims and inaccurate results. In this article, the focus is on middle school students given different survey methods to complete, and results show a difference in how the students responded. It is suggested that students were more willing to provide truthful responses through digital methods.
