Paper/Pencil Versus Online Data Collection: An Exploratory Study

Short Description

Online data collection methods are increasing in leisure research, and there are many potential benefits to using these methods including cost reduction and easier access to large populations. However, disadvantages in sample selection and variations of reliability are serious considerations. This study explores how subject responses potentially differ between online collection of data and paper/pencil collection, which is examined across six common instruments used for leisure research.
