This study, conducted by The Associate Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research and The Yale School of Forestry& Environmental Studies, shows that there are 9 types of Americans with regards to environmental attitudes. Each has a different perspective and understanding of environmental issues and each exhibits different behaviors. These perspectives and behaviors draw from not only political and religious associations, but also from how people perceive, interact with, and experience nature.
