Race, Ethnicity, Urban Populations, and Wildlife-Dependent Recreation: A Review and Synthesis of the Literature

Short Description

Demographics of the United States are changing. They are becoming more urbanized and more diverse. These changes pose important considerations for outdoor recreation management. This report informs the development of strategies to address our changing audiences based on reviews of existing literature and identifies trends, methods, recommendations, and gaps in this research. The report was supported by a cooperative agreement between North Carolina State University and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Human Dimensions Branch.
