USGSINV FY21 Biological Threats and Invasive Species Program Cyclical Request for Proposal

The following items are required:

1. Contact information:  Ensure your contact information is correct. Use the “Complete/Edit Registration” button to edit these data. This form also asks you to enter the proposal title, and any USGS co-investigators involved in your project. Be sure to save the form before you add co-investigators.

2. Proposal format: Please use the proposal template provided at the end of this document. Proposals should not be longer than 2 pages (in no smaller than 11-point font). References, if provided, do not count against the page length. Prior to on-line submission, all proposals must be reviewed and approved by USGS Center Directors, CRU Leaders or their designees; a form indicating such approval will be part of the on-line application process. Application packages not containing this completed form will not be processed. Proposals building on previous work must reference BASIS+ Project, Task and Sub-Task Number and Title and include citations of relevant recent product(s).

3. Completed budget form (see Excel template):

        a. Budget that includes source(s) and amounts for matching funds (e.g., center base funding, reimbursable) for the proposed project.

4. Letter(s):

        a. Please acquire a letter(s) of support for the proposal, indicating if the work was requested as technical assistance or if the proposal supports DOI management needs.

        b. Proposals lacking a letter of support or letter requesting assistance will not be prioritized for funding.
